What is ECA solution?

ECA solution is ‘Electro Chemicaly Activated’ solution.

How does it work?

To make ECA (Electro Chemicaly Activated) solution, you mix salt and water. The Centrego machine then uses an electrolysis process that produces the eco-friendly disinfectant and cleaning solution which, will clean surfaces and fabrics and kills up to 99.999% of microorganisms.

What can ECA solution be used for?

ECA solution can be used for cleaning almost any surface that you require. Walls, floors, furniture, fabric, glass, metal, wood, plastic, etc.

Centrego has found the solution highly effective, not only in the office and the house. But also in vehicles, with pets, on broken skin and to clean windows. It really can be used almost anywhere!

Upon contact, ECA solution will kill 99.99% of bacteria and viruses. Spray it onto almost any material that you wish to disinfect. A microfibre cloth is the best tool to apply the solution for the most effective results. It is also recommended that the surface is wiped until dry.

ECA solution versus other cleaning products

ECA solution is non-hazardous and non-toxic, and hypoallergenic, making it safe to apply by users. The solution is a combined cleaning agent and a powerful disinfectant, so cleaning and disinfection tasks can be completed in a single application. ECA solutions eliminate microorganisms virtually on contact – this is seen in this video. Click here to watch. This leads to more effective and efficient cleaning regimes by cleaning staff. Manufactured synthetic chemicals carry high carbon emission levels due to manufacturing process, transport, plastic containerisation, and package and waste disposal.

Using ECA systems and making cleaning and disinfectant solutions at the user’s site dramatically reduces the carbon footprint and environmental impact for the user and their company. Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is the key active substance of ECA solutions. HOCl is naturally produced and mobilised by the human body to fight infections. In many countries, HOCl is used as a wound-care treatment or dental work to provide natural healing for infection control.

Because the human body recognises HOCl it means that ECA solution is not harmful or toxic. On the other hand, many synthetic cleaning and disinfection chemicals can be detrimental to skin and the respiratory system – as illustrated by the danger signs on containers. ECA solution application requires no PPE for users and requires no hazardous warning vectors on the solutions.

ECA solution kills SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)

It has become more important than ever to ensure our surroundings are clean and free from infection and viruses during and after the global pandemic.

Centrego’s ECA solutions have been tested against both the surrogate SARS-CoV-2 virus and against the SARS-CoV-2 virus itself in a Government research laboratory. This is a very unusual test and is unavailable in commercial laboratories due to the extreme hazard risk. However, it evidences that ECA solutions will destroy the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes severe acute respiratory syndrome – Covid-19.
