CENTREGO WARRANTY GUIDE

Centrego provides a limited product warranty for its physical goods against defective parts or construction for one year after the purchase date. Centrego is refered to as the manufacturer in this warranty guide. The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover service visits and or transport costs.

Warranty Claims after one year from the date of purchase

If your supplier/distributor has offered a warranty period outisde or further to the manufacturer’s one-year period, this claim must be made with the company from which it was purchased and not the manufacturer.

Warranty Claims within one year from the date of purchase

Customer claims under the Warranty service should be submitted at the point of purchase. The device can only be returned after troubleshooting with the manufacturer has been carried out. If you have been advised by the manufacturer to return the product after troubleshooting, the device in question should be clean and dry, with all relevant parts present that have been discussed during troubleshooting. It should also be appropriately packaged for transit. The manufacturer is not liable for damage done during transit by third parties. Please do not send the device without taking pictures of all sides of the device and packaging before transit. Do not send the device to the manufacturer without reading this warranty guide in full.


Manufacturer warranty claims have to be accompanied by:

• Proof of purchase and name of supplier (copy can be sent)

• Date of purchase shown on invoice or receipt (copy can be sent)

• Name and serial number of device

• Identification of working location of the device

• A brief description of the issue and what troubleshooting has already been carried out with supporting text and images

• Who carried out troubleshooting with the customer and when

The manufacturer will either, at its discretion:

1. Repair the device and return it to the customer in complete working order at no cost to the customer

2. Replace the device with a new unit of identical or enhanced specification at no cost to the customer

3. Refund the customer for the original full purchase price paid at date of purchase

The manufacturer Warranty service does not cover:

• Damage due to what the maufacturer deems as misuse of the device

• Damage caused to the device due to water quality or power supply outside the published recommended parameters

• Any repairs, alterations, or opening of the system by anyone other than staff from the manufacturer or staff trained by the mmanufacturer

• Any breaking of security or warranty seals on the system

• Any damage caused due to the delivery transport by courier or postal service

• Any issues caused by peripheral equipment other than the device and or the local working environment

• Causes of natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods and thunderstorms

• There is no way to confirm the problem

• Malfunctions caused by salt, water, or power supply

• Replacement of consumable parts by anyone other than the manufacturer or staff trained by the manufacturer

• Misuse of device that would have been avoided having recieved full training from manufacturer and or use of support mmaterial on manufacturers website and YouTube channel (links below)

All claims must be conducted at the point of sale.

The supplier/distributor warranty service is not covered on this website, see your supplier/distributor for these details. The manufacturer does not hold proof of purchase details, this needs to be sourced at point of sale if needed. The manufacturer provides technical support for customers in or out of the warranty period.

INSTALLATION AND SERVICING WARRANTY

Installation and servicing of Centrego’s medium and larger systems (Toucan Active, Toucan Active Plus, Toucan Active Plus Auto, Flow series and 5K series) should only be undertaken by technicians who have been trained, authorised and certified by Centrego. If installations and servicing is undertaken by a person unauthorised by Centrego, it may invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.

Spare Parts Warranty

Only spare parts certified by Centrego should be used in installation, servicing and repairs of the Centrego devices. Any spare or replacement parts used in installing, repairing or servicing the Centrego systems that are not approved by Centrego may invalidate the manufacturer’s Warranty.

Product Registration

The Centrego distributor purchasing a Centrego system should register the product with Centrego at point-of-sale of the client identity and installation site location of any Active Plus Auto, Flow series and 5K series systems. Failure to provide this information may invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.
